The sale of our property occurred over a very uncertain time for the market at a time of rising interest rates and high inflation which markedly reduced buyer interest from the period a few months before. Our Bayley's agent Jacqui persisted with open homes even when few or no people were turning up to view, and diligently followed up enquiries on-line etc. A number of times we came close to an agreement only for interested buyers to pull out.
